In September 2023 Team RDC were invited to Sheffield City Hall. We had been nominated for the BBC Radio Sheffield, Make a difference awards- Together award.
The Together award- awarded to an individual or group of people who create real change by breaking down the barriers and bringing together people from different walk of life for a common cause.
We are delighted to announce that we won the award!
To each and every one of you who have supported RDC along the way, thank you so so much. In the early days setting up, many of you contributed to the just giving page. So many donated toys to set up the group. So many of you bought raffle tickets etc etc.
This support, along with a dedicated committee, the young deaf community of Rotherham are able to come together, be included, support each other and be proud of who they are.
